Galentine's Hat

Think of this hat once the holidays are over, and you want something fun just for yourself - or to celebrate a favorite girlfriend. I designed this hat for my sister-in-law but ended up keeping for myself the first three I knit.

This hat fits like a very relaxed beanie, but with a nice snug brim to keep it on your head, out of your eyes, and fitting well for many seasons.  It has just the right amount of slouch to stack a big pom on top.  The pattern features a tubular cast-on, but instructions are given for skipping that too.  You can knit this in three colors, or just two for a more tonal look.  I think it would look amazing with one solid and one contrasting gradient yarn!
