Picture This: More about Picture Day
Updated: Feb 16, 2021
Testers have wrapped up their projects, I've been getting more and more excited, and even my daughter has been choosing her Picture Day for her morning bike ride to preschool - its time to push this little pattern into the world! There's so much I want to tell you about this sweater.
With 2.5 - 3 inches of ease in the chest and arms, Picture Day has room to play, including plenty of room through the shoulders, and is written in sizes 6 months to 14 years.
Sizes: 6 mos (12 mos, 2 yrs, 3 yrs) [4 yrs, 6 yrs, 8 yrs] (10 yrs, 12 yrs, 14 yrs)
Body chest measurement: 17 (18, 21, 22) [23, 24, 26] (28, 30, 32) inches / 42.5 (45, 52.5, 55) [57.5, 60, 65] (70, 75, 80) cm
Finished chest measurement: 19.75 (21.25, 24.25, 24.75) [26.25, 27.25, 29.25] (31.75, 33.25, 35.75) inches / 49.5 (52.5, 60, 62) [65.5, 67.5, 73] (79, 83, 89) cm
Finished upper sleeve circumference: 9 (9.5, 9.5, 9.75) [9.75, 10.25, 11] (11.75, 12, 12.5) inches / 22.5 (24, 24, 24.5) [24.5, 25.5, 27.5] (29.5, 30, 30.5) cm

The pattern includes both charts and written instructions for the cables, you'll need two buttons (7/8"), two sizes needles (I used a US 5 and US 3) and a cable needle, and I like a handful of stitch markers. You can pick up a copy of the pattern on Ravelry or on Payhip, links are here.
Finally, I'd like to roll some credits!
