Ridge and Valley

ABOUT

Worked in a dense DK weight yarn with sumptuous drape, this all-over cable pattern is worked over simple columns of ribs. With 3/4 length sleeves and an open front, Ridge and Valley has quickly become my go-to for three-season indoor wear.

CONSTRUCTION

Ridge and Valley is knit flat and seamed. Stitches are picked up for the faux button band, which does not overlap. The hem hits at the hip, and the slightly dropped sleeves are three-quarter length.

"Lovely, weighty result for three-season wear. Once you get in to the cabling, super easy to memorize and carry the project along on car rides." - Lisa

"Enjoyed it very much from the beginning to the end, even the seaming. I love how beautiful the cable pattern looked... I referred to the cable pattern chart and progress chart often. The blocking schematics are a wonderful addition. I found these visual references useful and easy to follow." - Jenn

"Extremely detailed and well written. I like that you defined all the terms and special techniques." - Sharon
