A Better Drop

Description

Drop shoulder sweaters don't have to fit poorly. In this class, you'll learn to customize a drop shoulder sweater pattern to get the exact sweater you have in mind. After taking this class, knitters will be able to: 1. Understand the fundamentals of drop shoulder sweater construction 2. Evaluate a schematic and anticipate how a pattern will fit - before casting on 3. Choose modifications and implement them Class includes a planning worksheet. Knitters should be familiar with the basics of knitting math (changing decrease or increase frequency) and be able to take their measurements. Knitters with bodies of all sizes, shapes, and gender identity or expression are encouraged to register. Additional info: 1. Learn from both Aimee and Jen - this class is taught by both of us! 2. Class sessions will be recorded and shared with students who attend the class. We know you might want to refer back to the class material, and we are committed to creating an environment where 'what's said in the room stays in the room' so that everyone can talk comfortably about their bodies. For this reason, we cannot send the recording to folks who did not attend live.
