You're the do-it-yourself type, and you want to be building your skill set - this is a blend of 1:1 teaching, advice, and sounding board. Whether you're looking for a second set of eyes or more robust handholding as you get your bearings, we can craft a plan that's exactly right for you. Sample consulting services: - Orientation to grading, with custom resource recommendations and workflow plan - Initial schematic review and identification of common pitfalls, saving you time in pattern writing - Post-grading review and pre-tech-edit schematic reviews - Specific Q&A (how do I know how deep to make this armhole? Why is this puckering? How do I deal with this raglan puzzle?) - I can grade part or all of your pattern, and walk you through all my numbers and decisions - Creating a sustainable financial plan - Creating a pre-launch checklist - Attracting and retaining rockstar testers How it works - request a slot that works great for you! You'll be prompted to answer a few questions, and I'll be in touch if I have any questions - otherwise you'll get a confirmation. Need a time that's not listed? No problem - just send me an email and we'll get you scheduled! My hourly rate is $50/hour, with a one-hour minimum per project, and five-minute increments thereafter.
