ABOUT
Stella, released as part of the Hudson and West Autumn / Winter 2021 collection, features a cross-stitch pattern that runs up the front and around the back hem. The simple stitch detail is easily memorized, resulting in a beautiful pullover to pair with jeans, skirts, or layered over your favorite dress.

CONSTRUCTION
Stella is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed. The neckline is picked up after seaming and worked in the round.
YARN
Hudson & West Co.'s Forge is truly special, and Stella plays to its strengths. Forge is sourced, spun, and dyed in the US and is a bouncy, lofty, heathered blend of 70% merino and 30% Corriedale.
I love this yarn for its hand, bloom, and crisp stitch definition - but it's also a soft and wearable yarn. It has a moderate drape.
Shown in Gold Leaf, a resonant gold with green undertones. I plan to knit one for myself this winter, and I particularly have my eye on Evergreen, Mustard, and Cabernet!
