How I use paper dolls to plan my handknit & handsewn wardrobe
It's difficult for me to find clothes that fit off the rack, are sustainably made, and that suit my aesthetic. I've been making a lot more of my clothes, and investing in really well made wardrobe staples from sustainable clothing companies - and ALL of that is a serious investment of time and money!
I use paperdolls to get super clear on what I plan to make, how I'll wear and style it, and how my pieces will play together nicely. I hope you enjoy this quick tutorial, which includes both process tips and drawing tips!
If you'd like to take my workshop, Your Handknit Wardrobe, you can find more info on my webpage www.jpknitsthings.com, just click on "Learn With Me." Not seeing a workshop time slot that works for you? I offer a 1:1 version, and you can find the link to book that in the offerings for knitters.
