Anna - easy lace tee knitting pattern

The perfect piece for your fall and spring wardrobes. Anna is an effortless wool t-shirt with whimsical lace and cable details. This pattern features a wide scooping neckline as well as sweet little sleeve caps that keep underarm moisture away.

The Anna Tee is your favorite t-shirt with feminine details that feel effortlessly put together. You will feel comfortable and whimsical at the same time wearing this tee. The gentle A-line shaping pairs perfectly over jeans or your favorite maxi skirt so you can wear Anna all day! The edging along the neckline is worked as a tidy i-cord. She is knit from the bottom up in the round to the underarms, then the front and back are knit flat and seamed at the shoulders.

Construction

Anna Tee is worked seamlessly from the bottom up. The sleeve caps are knit flat without any underarm fabric and sewn around the front, top and back of the armscye. The neckline is finished with applied i-cord trim.

Your best fit

Choose the size closest to your actual upper chest measurement: 31 (34.25, 37.5, 40.75) [44, 47.25, 50.5] (53.75, 57, 59.25, 61.5) inches / 78.5 (87, 95.5, 103.5) [112, 120, 128.5] (136.5, 145, 150.5, 156) cm.

Upper chest is measured above the full bust, at an angle close to diagonal beneath the underarms, and straight across the back.

Alice is designed to fit with approximately 2 inches / 5 cm of positive ease at the fullest part of your bust.

If you need additional room for the bust, working the optional short row shaping will give you the best fit in the shoulders and armholes, while still making room for your chest. Short rows add length to the front only of the garment, so that the hem does not rise in the front.

Elizabeth is wearing size 2 with 2 inches / 5 cm of positive ease at the full bust. Her upper chest is 34 inches / 85 cm.
