Kid's Classic
Kid's Classic
Kid's Classic - a refined and playful sweater or sweater dress knitting pattern
Kids and teens need refined knits, too! Elegant lace meets playful ribbing in the Kid’s Classic pattern for ages 2-14.
The Kid’s Classic design has two views - an A-line dress and a straight-waist sweater, as well as two necklines. If your kiddo is cool with a snug neckline going over their face, you can work the round collar. If they’d like a little extra headroom, work the keyhole neckline.
Construction
Kid’s Classic is worked flat in pieces and seamed using set-in sleeve construction. Stitches are picked up and worked for the collar. Stitches are also picked up and knit for the keyhole facing and buttonhole, which are worked with applied i-cord and regular i-cord, respectively.

Your best fit
Choose the size closest to the actual chest measurement: 20.5 (21, 22, 24) (26.75, 28, 29.25, 31) inches / 51.5 (52.5, 55, 60) (67, 70, 73, 77.5) cm

Children’s sizing is based on chest circumference, and kids can be all different heights for any given chest circumference. Look at the schematic to see if you should shorten or lengthen the sleeves or body.
